Build up frame based
Decoration
We started the project by collecting ice cream sticks from our classmates, friends of friends and family. There will be their name written on the ice cream sticks as it has commemorative value.
Our groupmates manage to find unused materials such as can lids, aluminium cans, shampoo bottles, paper packaging, etc from their house. We filtered and selected the material based on our ideal colour palette and requirement. The materials are cut into small species and selected.

We started to stick them accordingly to form a frame. 2 rows of sticks are created as we needed to enlarge the frame size. We estimate that our frame will be within A4 size so that we can fit in the decoration nicely.

Besides, a hot glue gun is used while sticking the stick. Our member also added extra sticks at the back of the frame to make it steadily and will not break while holding it.

Our final outcome will be two different function frames which are a stud and a holder frame. Hence, we decided to create a sustainable holder for our frame by using paper and sticks. Other than that tin lid is stuck on the studs as the frame hanger.
Based on our theme “wounded Flora And Fauna”, we decided to include them in our product. After discussing, we planned to draw a deer and add flower elements to the product to bring out our theme clearly and directly.
The sketch is done and it was traced on the frame. We started to stick small elements and arranged them accordingly. We played around with the three colours and created a unique decoration that contains meaningful meaning and concept. The gradient effect is applied on both frames from blue to white to black.
